Motorola has announced three new smartphones from the RAZR family - the Motorola RAZR M, the Motorola RAZR HD and the Motorola RAZR HD MAXX. The Motorola RAZR M has the large, full display that many customers want for viewing video, reading, and surfing the Web, without the gargantuan body.
The Google owned company came up with a A 4.3-inch screen with qHD display of 960x540-pixel resolution that stretches from one edge to the other with very little bezel getting in the way, a Gorilla Glass screen with a patterned Kevlar backing and plenty of angular personality.
RAZR M comes with a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card.Camera has always been a bad mark for Motorola but it comes with a 8 megapixels like other high-end smartphone camera.It comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but Motorola promises that it'll upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean by the end of the year.The Razr M will be one of the first phones to ship with Google's Chrome browser as its default.
Also According to Pocket-Lint, the U.K. Motorola RAZR M will swap the Snapdragon 1.5GHz dual-core processor with one made by Intel. It is also being reported that the smartphone will be known by a different name, yet will retain the flashy form factor of the device, down to the minimal bezel and Kevlar back plate.
The price comes at $99 4G LTE Android handset on Verizon, a price that's sure to drop come the promotions-heavy holiday season.
