Sony VAIO Duo 11hybrid Ultrabook and a tablet.

IFA 2012 saw Sony releasing it Hybrid Ultra book named Sony Vaio Duo 11. For the first impression the Ultra book looks like a chunky tablet but with slides back and up to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard.

 At front the screen comes with a 11.6 inch(11 in the name comes from size) full-HD touch display (1080p resolution) with a digitizer stylus pen. It also has1.9MP front camera and a 5MP at the back. 10-point multi-touch operation is provided for simultaneously multi-player games.

First Official Windows 8 Phone released by Samsung, ATIV S

IFA 2012 had the prestige of reviling the first ever Windows 8 smart phone named ATIV S by Samsung. IFA also many gadgets been released but ATIV S was a surprise release.

The phone comes with a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display of HD resolution and has Gorilla Glass 2. The phone is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Krait processor and 1GB of RAM. Like Galaxy SIII, ATIV S comes with a 8MP rear camera and 1.9MP snapper at front. But unlike recent smartphones ATIV S has a dedicated camera key.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

The much awated galaxy note 2 is here

 The much awaited and anticipated ‘phablet’ from Samsung electronics, the Samsung Galaxy Note II was launched at the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) 2012 in the capital of Germany, Berlin on Wednesday.

The device is powered by a 1.6GHz quad core Exynos 4412 processor, a 4G LTE connectivity, 5.5 inch 1280 x 720 AMOLED display, 16, 32 or 64 GBs of storage capacity. Also, the Note 2 features an 8 MP rear camera while running of Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean.

Galaxy Note 2 can be claimed as a saving grace for a visibly shaken Samsung after the patent verdict ruling against it which saw Apple scoop a whooping USD 1 billion win.

It looks as though the rumor mills were correct, Samsung was indeed working on an Android-powered camera, culminating in the Samsung Galaxy Camera (glad to see them keep things short and sweet in terms of the naming convention, unlike the Nikon Coolpix S800c where folks who do not follow the news won’t even know that it is Android-powered), with the Galaxy name being retained to indicate that it runs on the Android operating system. Carrying the tagline, “Camera, Reborn”, the Samsung Galaxy Camera puts to shame some of the newer smartphones as it packs the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, while delivering Wi-Fi connectivity. Hybrid Windows 8 tablet from Samsung

Samsung is set to announce their hybrid tablets with windows 8 platform,name as Series 5 Hybrid PC. As the IFA event in Berlin around the corner, it supposed that they will revile it in Berlin. For a teaser Samsung has also posted an image of the hybrid device on its Facebook account.

Galaxy S III in 4 new colors

Samsung has expanded their color variety of S III to its 4 new color variants. Now S III will be available in Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black and Titanium Grey.

Samsung has said in their official blog- the 4 new colors are inspired by nature.

New logo for Microsoft

Microsoft has reviled their new logo. They had been using its italicized logo since 1987. The new logo, which incorporates a multicolored Windows symbol in addition to the "Microsoft" name.

MOZILLA FIREFOX OS TO COMPETE AGAINST ANDROID,IOS AND WINDOWS

 The first device with Firefox OS will cost less than $100 (Rs 5,500). This was revealed by Matthew Key, the chief operating officer of Telefonica, a telecom operator which will be using Mozilla's upcoming mobile operating system that was announced recently. He also revealed that Brazil will be the first country to receive the device, which will arrive before March 2013 and will be manufactured by Alcatel and ZTE.

Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830

Samsung mobile’s mid-range phones,Galaxy Ace is not a high end smartphone, but it does live up to the expectations of a mid-range user. For a person looking for a entertainable handset at a reasonable price, this is your gadget.

Nokia's Windows 8 phone set to be unveil on September

   Nokia is all set to introduce their Windows 8 phone on September 5th in a joint event with Microsoft. The two smartphones will be part of Nokia’s Lumia portfolio and are currently code-named the “Arrow” and “Phi.” The Phi is considered a high-end device that will be an AT&T exclusive, replacing the Lumia 800 and 900.

Halo 4 set to release on November 6 2012

Highly anticipated game Halo 4 is set to be released on November 6th this year. Like its predecessor its platform is Xbox. 

This time halo comes with a straightforward first-person shooter with more on mystery, exploration and discovery.Developers described the game as being grand in scope and scale. Forerunner elements will be featured extensively in the game's environment. Developers also suggested that the game will reveal how humanity and the UNSC have adapted to the galaxy after the end of their war with the Covenant, particularly how they have co-opted Forerunner technology.

Samsung’s WP8 phone names leaked

Samsung's Windows8 phone names has been leaked. With its model no being I8370 and I8750 with name Macro and Odyssey. 

The Samsung I8370 will be the cheaper device, sporting a 4.0-inch Super AMOLED WVGA screen, a dual-core 1.5GHz Krait processor, a 5 MP rear and a 1.9MP front cameras. The 8GB internal storage will be expandable via a microSD slot.

Nokia's Asha 305, 306 and 311

Nokia's new series Asha three new touch phones are Asha 305,306,311. With Asha 305 being a dual sim.The new phones run the new Asha Touch UI, which is built on top of Series 40 Developer Platform 2.0. Asha Touch UI is a refinement of the previous Touch and Type UI, designed to be used on full touch devices.
Notable features include a swipe-like gesture implementation for switching between a homescreen, app launcher and a favourite application (reminiscent of the Nokia N9); a pull down notifications bar (for alerts, messages, missed calls and status information; full on-screen keyboard; and a reworked design for all the key built in applications.

A look at Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

Samsung new Galaxy Note is totally different from its predecessor galaxy note. Actually the new Note is tablet with a S-Pen. It includes 3 variant Galaxy Note 10.1 (the N8000, 8010, and 8013). Since the older version Note was a great hit globally, Samsung decided to release this new Note (tablet model).

Microsoft surface a preview

Microsoft launched its new tablet sized model to compete with apple ipad. It is bit better in its design and has a touch sensitive keyboard.
